• ESAs permitted in on campus housing as a reasonable accommodation via Student Disability Access Center (studenthealth.virginia.edu, uvapolicy.virginia.edu).

Virginia Tech
• Through Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD), VT allows Assistance/Support Animals, including ESAs, in campus housing (ssd.vt.edu).

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU)
• ESAs are allowed in residence halls only with approval via Student Accessibility & Educational Opportunity (SAEO) (saeo.vcu.edu).

George Mason University (GMU)
• Emotional Support Animals in housing allowed on a case-by-case basis by the Housing Request Committee .

Norfolk State University (NSU)
• ESAs (typically dogs/cats) allowed in university housing after approval via OASIS

Longwood University
• ESAs allowed in university managed housing with approval from Accessibility Resources Office (longwood.edu).

Radford University
• ESA housing accommodations available through the Center for Accessibility Services

Randolph College
• Generally pet-free, but ESAs are permitted in assigned residence rooms and outdoors with written approval from the Special Accommodations Committee

Marymount University
• ESAs allowed by discretion under Fair Housing Act—must be medically necessary

Emory & Henry College
• Welcomes ESAs in residential facilities after approval by the ESA Committee .

and disability and accommodation paperwork support exclusively online, has blossomed into a full-service counseling practice.

Our counseling service offers immediate in-person appointments for clients aged 3 years and older, ensuring that everyone can receive the support they need without delay. For aged 13 and up and adults, we provide online appointments that are also available immediately, making it convenient to access help from the comfort of home. We are dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all clients. Whether in-person or online, we are here to help you navigate challenges and promote emotional well-being.

Assessment

Behavior, personality, and vocational assessments are essential tools that help individuals and organizations understand and optimize human potential. These assessments provide valuable insights into a person's traits, behaviors, and preferences, enabling better decision-making in various contexts, from career development to emotional well-being.
